For property managers and contractors with 20 to 150 vendors

Know which vendors are uninsured before you send them out

CoveredYet checks every certificate of insurance against your requirements, emails vendors and their insurance agents with exactly what to fix, and keeps following up. Anything that needs a judgement call, like a waiver or a lower limit, comes to you.

The problem

A COI in the file isn't the same as a covered vendor

  1. Some of your vendors are probably working on expired policies right now, and you can't easily tell which ones.

  2. A certificate can have the wrong limits, no additional insured, or the wrong certificate holder.

  3. Chasing vendors and their agents for corrected certificates turns into a part-time job.

How it's planned to work

  1. Import your vendors and requirements

Upload a vendor list or an export from your property management or accounting software, plus your vendor agreement or a short requirements form. You confirm the requirements once.

  2. Every certificate gets checked

Each COI is read for dates, limits, additional insured, waiver of subrogation and certificate holder, then compared with your requirements.

  3. Vendors and agents get chased

Emails say exactly what to fix and include an upload link. Follow-ups continue on a schedule, and decisions come to you in a weekly email.

What you get

Exact correction requests

Not just "your COI expired". Each email names the limit, endorsement or holder wording that needs to change.

Renewals asked for early

About 45 days before a policy ends, the vendor and their agent are asked for the renewal certificate.

A weekly "who's not covered" email

One list of vendors who are expired, deficient or waiting, and what's being done about each.

You make the calls

Waivers, lower limits and workers' comp exemptions come to you with one-click answers. We never decide them for you.

Audit-ready export

Every vendor's current certificate and status in one file for your insurance audit or an owner.

Email only, no vendor accounts

Vendors and agents reply by email or upload through a link. No app, no logins, and no phone calls on your behalf.

Questions

Is CoveredYet available now?

Not yet. We're building it now. Join the founding list and we'll email you when it's ready, with your founding price locked in.

Will I be charged if I join?

No. Joining the list is free and doesn't commit you to anything.

Who decides whether a vendor is compliant?

You do. CoveredYet checks certificates against the requirements you set and flags anything that doesn't match. Judgement calls, such as waiving a requirement, accepting a lower limit or accepting a workers' comp exemption, always go to you. We don't give insurance or legal advice, and we don't guarantee that any vendor is properly insured.

Does a certificate that passes mean the vendor is covered?

Not necessarily. A certificate of insurance is evidence of coverage on the day it was issued. It doesn't change the policy, and a policy can be cancelled later. For additional insured status, CoveredYet asks for the endorsement itself, not just the checkbox on the certificate.

My property management software already tracks insurance. Why would I need this?

Many tools store expiry dates and send reminders. CoveredYet reads what comes back, checks it against your requirements and asks for the specific correction. You can start from your software's vendor export.

Will you phone vendors or their brokers?

No. It's email only. If a vendor or agent stops responding, we tell you so you can decide what to do.
